As per the Ready Reckoner and the Stamp Duty / Registration Fees revisions (02.09.2021), for Sale Deed in areas other than Gram Panchayat:

- Registration fee: 0.5%
- Chargeable value: Market value or consideration, whichever is higher
For Sale Deed in Gram Panchayat: Stamp duty 5.5%, Transfer duty 0%, Registration 2%.

DHARANI and Market Value
Duty is calculated on the higher of market value or consideration. Use the DHARANI portal (dharani.telangana.gov.in) and the department’s Ready Reckoner for current rates and SRO values.
Gift to Family Member (Other than Gram Panchayat)
As per the official Ready Reckoner and revisions (02.09.2021):
- Stamp duty: 2%
- Transfer duty: 0.5%
- Registration fee: 0.5% (subject to minimum ₹2,000 and maximum ₹25,000)
- Chargeable value: Market value of the property
Gift to non-family: Stamp 5%, Transfer duty 1.5%, Registration 0.5% (min ₹2,000, max ₹1,00,000). Gift in favour of Government/GP/Municipality etc.: Nil stamp and TD, reg 0.5% (min ₹2,000, max ₹10,000).
